after adding 2,4-dibromofluorobenzene (20.0g, 0.08mol, 1eq.) and anhydrous dmf (350 ml) to a 500ml round-bottomed flask, slowly add sodium methoxide (5.2 g, 0.09 mol, 1.2 eq.), stir vigorously at room temperature overnight, then add 5% hcl to neutralize and stop the reaction. extract with ch2cl2 (50 ml : petroleum ether), 30g of white solid was obtained, with a yield of 95%. 1h nmr (400mhz, cdcl3): δ7.25(t,j=1.6hz,1h), 6.99 (d,j=1.6hz,2h), 3.78(s,3h).
