The automotive industry is making every effort to develop in a low-carbon and intelligent direction, and innovative material solutions are the key driving factors in this process. In line with this industry trend, Covestro and Gaohe Automobile, the global benchmark brand for luxury electric vehicles, announced the establishment of a joint laboratory during the Sixth China International Import Expo to promote the development of low-carbon material solutions and smart technologies for future travel.
The establishment of the joint laboratory is based on the cooperation agreement signed by the two companies at last year’s CIIE. It will focus on the commercialization of low-carbon material solutions for future electric vehicles and the formulation of relevant standards, as well as next-generation smart surface technology and Development of battery solutions.
